James Morgan never really believed in love. That is, until he laid eyes on Deborah Walker at the local soda fountain. He surprises himself by inviting her out for an impromptu night on the town, and she shocks him even more by agreeing. As the night progresses, the two share their past histories and secret dreams, and James realizes that she is the perfect woman for him. The only problem is that he ships off to Korea the next morning. Fulfilling his duty is non-negotiable to James, even if fighting for his country will ultimately break both of their hearts.

Deborah promises to wait for him, but two years is a long time to put her life on hold, especially for a man she only knew for one day. When Rip Rockwell returns from the war and James does not, Rip proposes marriage to Deborah. She agrees and they build a beautiful life together until his death fifty years later. Through it all, though, she can never quite forget her first love. She retires to Abilene, expecting to live out the rest of her days in peace. So imagine her surprise when James Morgan moves in next door…

Both lived lives full of love. Both lost their loves too early. Can James and Deborah form a new life together while cherishing their memories of those that still live in their hearts?

This special boxed set edition features two novellas, four short stories, and additional bonus content including:

My Thoughts

My Heart Belongs to Only You is Deborah's story.

To be honest, there's no word to describe this beautiful piece of love story. I fell in love with the book from the very first chapter and couldn't stop until the very last chapter. It's so amazingly written and you will feel the pain, grief, heartbreak, love and hope in every word.

Even though this would be the second time Deborah fell in love, but it is powerful enough to make you feel the pain of nearly losing someone that you love.

Deborah had a wonderful talent of writing poem which is one way to express her love, it's really beautiful. This talent was complemented with Rip's ability to sing which will make you shed a tear or more with how deeply affected are them with each other.

I'll Never Stop Loving You tells the story of young soldier, James who had experienced the war that changed both himself and his future. A picture of an exotic young woman which kept him going even though he was a war captive. After he was released, he wanted to go back to his first love, Deborah and he received the news that she moved to Alaska. So he decided that he should look for the young woman that filled his dream now. Gloria was a young woman who had endured a terrible loss in life and she was seeking for new life and beginning with her family.

I love the way Mrs. Melissa put James's journey of looking for the woman (Gloria). They have crossed path so many time. Fate had a funny way of making them wait for the perfect time. The beginning of this story showed the war zone and James's experience. I was really relieved that he was alright physically.

A picture can truly change one's life.

I really recommend anyone who loves soldier and WWII story to read this sweet romance full of hope.

I love each one of their moment and this is one emotional rollercoaster.

A love story that doesn't end in the last page of the book but stays and live in your heart.

You Make Me Feel So Young and When I Fall In Love are two short stories featuring James and Deborah that met each other again after 50 years. Both of them had experienced love, growing old together and have children. When they got reunited again, they decided to continue what they left behind.

I really like this story and if you're looking for a short, cute and fun story this is the perfect one. Even though it had been five decades since they last met, they still remember each other's personality. It's really heartwarming to know someone out there can love you like what James and Deborah experienced.

Look Homeward Angel and All I Have to Do is Dream are two sweet stories about Deborah and Rip, James and Gloria after they are married. These two stories made me want more about their children's lives.

These stories will tug your heartstrings and it will always have a special place in my heart.

Totally recommended!
